A Photo Blog: My trip to Saat Taal -Pangot- Uttarakhand Part 1

I went to Saat-Taal & Pangot for bird watching & photography from 15-19th November 2017. We must have seen about 80 species of birds. Most of them I saw for the first time. It was indeed an experience of a different kind... Here are some of the photos that I took... All photos taken on Nikon 3200 camera & 200-500 Nikkor Lens..

Black lored Tit
We saw many types of Tits. This Black lored Tit was probably the best of the lot.

Chestnut bellied Nuthatch-Male
Chestnut bellied Nuthatch is a very industrious bird- never still.. always engaged in some activity. This is its typical posture...
Chestnut bellied Nuthatch- Female
The female bird of the same species is much paler than the male...

We also saw White bellied Nuthatch at Pangot...
Grey Bushchat
A very bold & beautiful bird... Not shy at all... Would sit & pose for a pretty long time...
